Biennial Flowers Pink & White Collection

Long strong stems and masses of gorgeous flowers in shades of pink and white are characteristics of this selection. There are six packets of seeds in this collection. Flowers are the most gorgeous shades of pink and white. These are top quality plants often grown by flower farmers.

We've taken the hard work out of choosing the very best flowers for you in the most delicate colours. If you are planning to grow early flowers in your garden, for cutting, for a special happy event such as a wedding or anniversary celebration or simply to add colour to a neglected area you can't go wrong with this selection! These biennial varieties have been specially selected to complement each other either growing in your garden or as cut flowers in a bouquet.

These are all brilliant plants for early flowers. They are perfect for providing and early supply of food for pollinating insects too. Following on from spring bulbs this collection of biennials will flower from March until the end of June or even longer. They are very easy to grow and super productive giving you masses of flowers for picking.

Height & Spread Various heights, minimum 45/50cm
Sow Seeds Sow seeds direct in summer from June to August. You can also start seeds off indoors then plant out when your young plants are well established.
Plant Out Move plants to their flowering position in September then allow them to grow on throughout autumn and winter.
Conditions Required Like most biennial flowers this collection prefers a sunny spot and will tolerate some dappled shade. Water thoroughly in dry spells, keep picking/deadheading and feed to keep the flowers going.
Flower Production Buckets of blooms in shades of pink and white produced from March to the end of June or even longer.
Picking Pick early in the morning or in the cool evening and stand flowers in deep water for a few hours before arranging. Cut flowers will last at least 5 days in a vase.
Planting Combinations This Pink & White Biennial Collection contains some of the best early flowers that you can grow. You will be amazed at how many flowers are produced. These varieties have been specially selected to complement each other either growing in your garden or as cut flowers in a bouquet. They will grow beautifully with Digitalis 'Apricot' and flowers such as Daucus & Aquilegia.
