Calendula officinalis 'Snow Princess' Seeds

Calendula Snow Princess has open daisy like flowers with petals in the palest shades of ivory and lemon. Buds and newly opened flowers are lemon yellow which gradually fades over time to almost white. Flower centres are yellow and brown. Grows to 60cm tall with nice long stems for cutting.

Excellent in the garden, perfect for pollinators and cut flowers too. Calendula Snow Princess adds a touch of colour to a bunch of white flowers without overpowering them. Lovely for weddings and other celebrations.

Commonly known as Pot Marigolds, Calendula is a classic country garden hardy annual. Calendula are quick and easy to grow. Sow in spring for flowers this summer. Sow again in autumn for stronger plants and early flowering from May next year.

Conditions Required Calendula prefers well drained soil in full sun.

Keep picking flowers and dead-heading to encourage new flowers.

Flower Production Sow in succession for flowers from May to October or even longer in warm sheltered places.
Picking Pick Calendula early in the morning, remove lower leaves then stand them in deep water for a few hours before arranging. Lasts 5-7 days in a vase.
Planting Combinations Calendula Snow Princess has flowers in the palest shades of ivory and lemon.
They grow particularly well with most white flowers and blue flowers.
