Calendula officinalis 'Touch of Red Mixed' Seeds

Calendula Touch of Red has open daisy like flowers in all shades of orange, apricot and yellow with bronze and red edges to the petals. Quick and easy to grow, Calendula Touch of Red grows to 45cm tall with nice long stems for cutting. Commonly known as Pot Marigold, Calendula is a classic country garden hardy annual.
Sow outdoors in Spring for summer flowers. Sow again in autumn stronger earlier plants next year.

Thin/Plant Out Allow 30cm (12 inches) between plants.
Conditions Required Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

Keep picking and dead heading to encourage new flowers.

Flower Production May to October or even longer in warm sheltered places.
Picking Pick Calendula early in the morning, remove lower leaves and stand in
deep water for a few hours before arranging. Lasts 5-7 days in a vase.
Planting Combinations This mix of Calendula has flowers in all shades of yellow, apricot and orange. They grow particularly well with Cerinthe major and Blue Cornflowers.
