This is a tall Dahlia with pompom shaped flowers. They bloom in all shades of pink from pale pink to cerise, red and burgundy, cream and white plus yellow and orange.
Dahlias are often planted as tubers and that’s brilliant when you need a particular colour or shape for your garden or flower arrangements. If you love Dahlias and just want a good mixture of colours then growing from seed is a great option.
Pompone Mixed grows to at least 60cm/2 feet tall and the plants will need support of some kind to prevent them blowing over in the wind. These perfect globe shaped flowers are good for cutting and lovely for adding to mixed bunches of flowers.
