Rudbeckia Goldsturm Seeds

Rudbeckia Goldsturm is amazing. Blooms are gorgeous with golden daisy-like flowers with a dark centre. A long flowering period means these plants are perfect for all sorts of pollinating insects. Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' makes a lovely cut flower and provides food for bees and butterflies. Grow these in your garden and I am sure that you will love them just as much as I do! Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good garden performance.

Height & Spread Grows to 60-75 cm / 2-2.5 feet tall
Sow Seeds Sow seeds in March-June on the surface of seed compost then chill for 3-4 weeks in the fridge at 5°C or outside if you live in a cold area. Bring into the warmth of the greenhouse again where the seedlings will germinate, grow on as usual. Plant outside after the last frosts in your area, usually from May onwards.
Thin/Plant Out Plant young plants 30cm/1 foot apart
Conditions Required Rudbeckia like full sun and moist but well drained soil
Please make sure that the soil does not dry out or the plants will suffer
Flower Production Rudbeckia Goldsturm produces blooms for a good three months or more.
Picking Pick flowers and dead head regularly to encourage production of new blooms.

Plant Combinations The striking golden blooms of Rudbeckia Goldsturm combine beautifully with autumn grasses, the deep blue flowers of Cerinthe and Salvia virids and other Rudbeckias with coppery tones such as Rustic Mixed.
