Sweet Pea 'Jilly' Seeds

Jilly is a charming Sweet Pea with a fresh clean scent and award winning blooms. Flowers have attractive waved edges and start off a rich cream colour fading gracefully to classic ivory. Jilly Sweet Peas are in my view some of the best garden flowers you can grow.

Jilly is popular for weddings too as the classy cream flowers combine well with most other colours. It's perfect for bouquets and posies. Produces award winning blooms so if you plan to grow and exhibit Sweet Peas then Jilly is an excellent choice. Jilly is one of the best cream flowers to grow and a favourite with top Sweet Pea exhibitors.

Sweet Peas are brilliant plants for beginners. They are very easy to grow and super productive giving you masses of flowers for picking.
Jilly is a Spencer type of Sweet Pea suitable for cutting, for the garden and for exhibiting.

Sow Seeds Sow September-December for robust plants then again in March to
extend the flowering season. In cold areas start off indoors.
Grow 2 seedlings to a 1L pot. HOW TO GROW SWEET PEAS
Plant Out Prepare a trellis with canes spaced 20cm apart (8 inches) then plant one pot with two seedlings next to each cane. Tie the stems in as they grow.
Conditions Required Sweet Peas have long roots and need fertile, moist but well drained soil.
Like most annual flowers Sweet Peas prefer a sunny spot.
They will also grow in dappled shade.
Water thoroughly in dry spells and feed to keep the flowers going.
Flower Production Buckets of scented white flowers from June to September.
Picking Pick Sweet Peas early in the morning or in the cool evening and stand them
in deep water for a few hours before arranging. Lasts 5 days in a vase. Perfect with cream, lime and white flowers for a classic bouquet and adds lightness to bunches of annual cut flowers in all shades.
Planting Combinations Sweet Peas are some of the best annual climbing flowers that you can grow.
You will be amazed at how many flowers are produced.
Jilly grows best on a trellis alone or with other Sweet Peas.
