Sweet Pea 'Painted Lady' Seeds

Painted Lady is one of the best Sweet Peas for early flowers from May onwards. This heritage variety has beautiful bi-coloured blooms which start off deep pink and white. Gradually they fade to paler shades of pink and of course their scent is amazing.

Sweet Peas are brilliant plants for beginners. They are very easy to grow and super productive giving you masses of flowers for picking. Loved by flower growers for their charming early blooms Painted Lady is also good for a sunny spot in your garden. Slightly shorter than modern cultivars growing to about 4.5 feet /1.4 metres tall so it's brilliant to grow up a wigwam of canes in a large patio pot. Stems are slightly shorter too but Painted Lady makes a lovely cut flower for posies and jam jars.
