Tagetes 'Lemon Gem' Seeds

Tagetes Lemon Gem are annual plants with masses of bright yellow flowers produced from mid summer to late autumn. The star shaped flowers are very attractive to bees, hoverflies and other pollinating insects. Leaves are mid green and deeply divided and are very attractive too.

Tagetes Lemon Gem forms mounds of flowers up to 20cm tall so these are brilliant plants for edging paths and borders. Tagetes are also great in the vegetable garden to encourage beneficial insects and deter pests... it's thought they repel aphids. They will happily grow in pots on a sunny patio and the flowers are edible too.
