White Edge & Container Plants

A collection of three packets of seeds to grow white plants which are all great for edges and containers.

White Salvia viridis is an exceptionally long flowering annual with white and green veined bracts produced on sturdy plants. Commonly known as Clary Sage it’s a brilliant plant for beginners. It is easy to grow, produces masses of flowers and is good for cutting and drying. Clary is brilliant for edging paths and growing in containers too.

Erigeron 'Profusion' are vigorous mat forming plants producing masses of beautiful flowers. Daisy blooms open white then change to pink as they mature. These pretty plants usually have flowers at all stages of development and all shades of pink and white. You may also know them as Australian Daisy or Mexican Fleabane.

Iberis 'Iceberg Superior' has large heads of pure white flowers. Easy to grow and quick to flower. Lovely for cutting for posies

All of these white flowers are low growing and great for edging paths and borders. They are lovely in containers too. Sow in spring when the soil has warmed up for summer flowers then sow again in autumn. An autumn sowing will produce early flowers the following year. If you live in a cold area then the protection of a cloche, a cold frame or unheated greenhouse is best until your young plants are well established.
