When I think of orange flowers I feel happy. My first thoughts are of warm summer days and bright orange Marigolds. Later in the season there are masses of Heleniums and other tall orangey/yellow perennials. But there are also some early spring flowers in all shades of orange… and that’s right when I feel that I need an intense shot of colour.
Orange Primroses and Tulips can be grown in containers or in the ground. I love to have lots of tulips planted in the borders with wallflowers. I also like to pot up some terracotta pots with bulbs or small plants for my little table outside my garden studio. That way I can enjoy them at close quarters with my morning coffee.
I know that some people aren’t too keen on orange… but I love it!
Todays post was inspired by Cees Fun Photo Challenge.
Do you have orange plants in your garden? Are you joining in this week?
