The RSPB is holding the 2024 Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th January.
Both Adults and Children can take part. To join in all you need to do is:
- Apply for a pack (download it)
- Select a day and watch the birds that visit your garden for one hour.
- Record which birds visit and count how many you see.
- Let the RSPB know your results.
It’s really easy and good fun, especially if you have children to help you count.

Hello Gillian, it’s been a while! I am in Australia and there is an organised annual birdwatch held here as well. I hope everyone spots some interesting subjects during the weekend.
