Cherry Brandy roses are some of the most glamorous roses I have ever clapped eyes on.
A trio of seed heads.
Most of the seeds have been blown away.
Just a few papery white seeds remain on the skeleton flowers.
In early June this year many of the seeds I sowed in March produced the most beautiful flowers. I was able to pick buckets and buckets of them for our home, our family and friends and there were still plenty left to enjoy in the garden.
The Lavender plants lining the path to our front door are not quite as lavender blue as I thought they would be. I’d say they were more of a pale lilac colour. I’m not complaining, it’s just an observation. The scent is quite amazing as the plants release their fragrance in the heat of the day and that more than makes up for the lack of bright colour.
